The lovely Ackers and Helly met online… kind of!! A classic case of ‘too slow to reply / blocked / accidentally then met IRL’…. somewhat awks, but they made it all work out amazingly in the end!!
I was so happy to be asked to capture their day, which was pegged to be a super relaxed, fun and boozy wedding at Ackers’ family home. Don’t you know I love shooting this type of wedding??! And a massive bonus in that Ackers and I were at uni together, so it was extra special to see him marry the incredible Helly (aka soon-to-be published author of The Shelf!!).
Bradfield College Chapel welcomed everyone with such warmth, and then guests enjoyed a sunny afternoon of champers and delicious canapes followed by a big party with the very cool Chris Sharpe on sax!
I hope you love these quirky little moments from their wedding day, with lots more photos to come soon!! Helly, Ackers, it was pure joy to see you two get married; the way that you look at each other and look after each other is so beautiful to witness. No Shelf for you guys, amirite??!! Much love x
I hope you loved this gorgeous garden wedding as much as I enjoyed shooting it! Get in touch if you’d like to talk about photos for your summer (or winter!!) bash… I’d love to shoot it!!
