Fish Beach Taverna Wedding Dubai // Introducing Sara and Chad

Fish Beach Taverna Wedding Dubai // Introducing Sara and Chad

Well, where do I start with this absolutely stunning Dubai wedding!!  It’s a very special one for us, as the bride Sara is one of my oldest and best friends (think ballet classes, sleepovers and camping holidays… yep, we were those 90s kids!!).  We’ve seen each other through many stages of life over a 25 year friendship, so it was beyond an honour to be asked to photograph her wedding to the absolutely charming Chad, an extremely talented musician from New Zealand (check out his stuff here!!).

Sara and Chad met each other and have lived in Dubai for many years, so it was wonderful to get everyone over to the sandpit to see them in their homeland, and a total treat for us to have an excuse to head out there again and be surrounded by their lovely families and friends.  A few days of festivities in Dubai (hello, all you can eat brunch!!) culminated with their beautifully boho chic wedding day at the Fish Beach Taverna… the first wedding to be held at this venue!

The weather was absolutely perfect and, when the warm sun dipped below the horizon, the festoon lights and lanterns picked up to create an atmospheric evening vibe.  Surf and turf, tacos, tequila and live music… so much fun, and so sad to say goodbye!!!

Sa and Chad – we want to say more than we can get away with in this little post, but we’re so excited to see where your adventures take you, and we’ll be right here for you along the way!  The sweetest, most generous friends, we will forever remember your wedding weekend!  Much love always x #TheChadandRara
