Netia and Ken’s Surrey garden wedding was bathed in sunshine (which we’ve come to be familiar with in July!) and love and laughter. These two lovely people met in Brussels, where Netia moved after university and Ken was living. Ken was Netia’s rugby coach – how cool is that! Marrying the coach is definitely a good way of reducing how many press ups you need to do. (Although we checked with Ken and he makes her work harder. Shucks.)
Anyway, they chose the setting of Netia’s parents’ glorious home in a little Surrey village, Churt, where Netia grew up. This house, as you’ll see from the photos, is pretty epic and the gardens were the perfect setting for a relaxed drinks reception and marquee evening (oh and a bouncy castle for the kids, of course).
I’ve known Netia personally since our school days, so it was an even bigger privilege for Joey and I to have been asked to photograph – and film – their wedding day. We enjoyed it immensely; and loved meeting all of Ken’s family and friends who had travelling over from Belgium for the occasion!
Enjoy this selection of photos, and you can watch their wedding film as well which hopefully just brings the day together.
Netia and Ken, wishing you a wonderful future together in your lovely home in Brussels – a happy, sporty, lovely future!
We hope you’ve enjoyed the photos and film from Netia and Ken’s wedding day! If you’d like to know more about photography or a film for your wedding do get in touch via the Contact page, or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
