Laura and Stu got in touch about their wedding photos soon after we photographed Laura’s sister Vicky’s wedding… and that was awesome, so of course we were excited to shoot this party as well!!

They officially tied the knot in Antigua at the beginning of the year, when Stu pulled up to shore having earned a world record with the Four Oarsmen for rowing across the Atlantic (as you do…).  Yes, let’s just pause there to take in such an incredible achievement…

Following an intimate, family beach wedding in the Caribbean (jels!), Laura and Stu wanted to bring it home with a huge party for their family and friends, and decided to celebrate at Moor Farm in the Cotswolds – Stu’s family home.  The wedding was a massive family affair with cosy rustic touches, tons of booze and no curfew!!  All the ingredients for an epic celebration!

We’re looking forward to seeing these guys and showing them more photos and their film soon, but for now here are some teasers from their day – wishing Laura and Stu an incredibly fun, happy future together!!!

“Special thanks to the entire Watts family, especially Richard, Wendy and Matty who have worked tirelessly to make what little vision we have come to life.  From painting and decorating the farm to supply and cooking the lamb.  Huge thank you!”

Congratulations to Bec and Jimmy!!  So, you may know that we absolutely love a bit of travel, but these guys take it up a notch, having met at a beach bar in Thailand whilst travelling the world…

Six months later, they settled back into life together in Hackney in London and chose the pretty Cripps Barn in the Cotswolds for their wedding.

Bec and Jimmy’s wedding day was an absolute beaut; not just for the pretty details and styling, but – as with all our couples – it was a wicked fun party!!

The third couple out of four besties that we’ve photographed, we loved seeing our previous couples once again (if you’re interested, you can check out their weddings here and here!).

These teasers from their day will find Jimmy and Bec sunning it up in Italy right now… it’s always exciting getting that first look of your photos, and even better with pasta and prosecco, amirite?!!  Wishing this lovely couple a very happy, adventure-fuelled future together!! x

Harriet and Ed, two of the most lovely people on this planet…

I’ve known Harry for many years through our friend Sarah, so it was with genuine happiness over the last few years that we’ve seen her meet, and now marry, the man of her dreams!  Harry and Ed met at a party of mutual friends in Bristol (who couldn’t be at the wedding as they’d just had a baby, awww!) and then followed a Bristol to London romance!  Not long afterwards, Ed managed to relocate to London and proposed to Harry in their sweet home at the end of a gruelling cycling weekend (perfect weekend-ending!).

Their beautiful garden wedding was held at Harriet’s parents’ home in Oxfordshire and they got married in the local church where Harriet was christened; how lovely is that re-connection of history!  The celebrations continued back at the house, with drinks and canapes being served in the garden along with an awesome steel band serenading, before a gentle walk down to a most stunningly-decorated marquee for the evening’s festivities.  Team #Hazed2016 had been hard at work adorning bicycle wheels with greenery for the marquee ceiling, and they looked amazing!!

It was such a treat to be part of this day; to feel so welcomed by Harry and Ed and their families; to be around old friends and see lovely familiar faces and – of course – witness the start of a beautiful marriage.  We wish #Hazed only the best and can’t wait to see what the future holds! x

Sophie and Duncan met as teenagers and their love story blossomed a few years later during a ski season at Alpe D’Huez, where Duncan was working at the time.  These two are the kindest souls – Joey and I felt so welcomed and looked after by both their lovely families, and it was a pleasure to photograph this pretty wedding!

Caswell House – a gorgeous barn in the Cotswolds – was the setting for Sophie and Duncan’s wedding, and they put their stamp on it in style (with dedicated styling from Sophie’s sister and mum!).  The slopes have a special place in their hearts, and the barns looked perfect with a magical winter, alpine theme throughout.

Delicious food by Caswell House Indulgence set the guests up for a raucous party entertained by Duncan Disorderly (love the groom-pun), after being serenaded by the happy couple’s very close friend Scottish John for their first dance – an acoustic version of 500 Miles.  So heartwarming.  Their sweet friend Rebecca – whose wedding we’ll be shooting next August – created their incredible snow cones wedding cake!  So much love and thought and care went into making this wedding very special; a testament to how much Sophie and Duncan are adored by their friends and family, and everyone who knows them.

More photos to follow soon so watch this space!

Wishing Sophie and Duncan a relaxing, sun-drenched honeymoon and we look forward to welcoming you back for your viewing in a couple of weeks’ time! x

Thank you Sophie for these lovely words: “Thanks so much for these Krish! They look amazing.  Thank you once more for being the best photographers anyone could have wished for – your patience and approach was so unintrusive and natural – exactly how we had hoped.  Just perfect – thank you so much.”
