It’s almost time for Christmas festivities… but, before we go stuff our faces with mince pies, I wanted to share with you our final wedding of 2020 – the lovely Megan and Alex!!

Megan and Alex are close friends with Kate, Charlie, Steph and Tom (whose weddings you can see here and here!), so I was super happy to be asked to capture their London winter wedding too…

They chose St. Vedast-Alias-Foster church, tucked away by St. Paul’s Cathedral, for their wedding ceremony; a beautiful church which they’d chanced upon earlier in their relationship and both loved.

After the ceremony, guests were treated to mince pies and mulled wine (lush!) and then a boozy Routemaster to the Round Chapel in Hackney, where the evening festivities began!!

Delicious food, drinks and ents ensued, including a brilliant rendition of Dolly Parton’s Islands in the Stream… a la Gavin and Stacey!!  So much fun was had by all, and we can’t wait to share more photos… but, for now, enjoy this little teaser set which is heading to Megan and Alex on their cosy minimoon in Scotland! x

Hope you loved this gorgeous wintery London wedding… if you’d like to chat about photos, just get in touch and let’s make it happen!

I first met Steph when she was helping bestie Kate get ready for her wedding… 10 months later, and it was Steph’s turn!!!

Steph and Tom’s families have been in each other’s lives for many years, so it was only a matter of time (and a bit of a prompt from Steph’s mum!!) before these two get together.  And what a sweet couple they make… as you will see from the photos.

They had their wedding ceremony at the very special St. Margaret’s church by Westminster Abbey, which is always great fun with the crowds gathering nearby, speculating which celeb might be getting out of the car (I overheard someone say ‘Sienna Miller’!!).

After the sweet service, guests headed to Westminster Boating Base down the road for fizz and delicious canapes, followed by a total feast provided by Moro… sooo good!!!

It was a pleasure to work with Chris at The Wedding Arrangers, who made sure everything went smoothly on the day, and I also loved all the little London foodie and drink touches that Tom and Steph had chosen for the day (Neal’s Yard cheese wedding cake, omg).

I left the wedding with the dancefloor in full swing, so I’m sure the rest of the night was epic!!  Huge congratulations to this amazing couple, and I can’t wait to share more photos soon! x

When I first met Imogen and Sam, we bonded over our shared love of vino and champagne – I was super impressed that they’d headed straight to Sam’s fave vineyard in the Champagne region to stock up for their wedding!!

They kicked off the celebrations with a sweet ceremony at Stoke Newington Town Hall (you know how much we love a London town hall wedding!!), and guests then made their way to the West Reservoir Centre for the party.  This dry hire venue is totally up there in terms of ace London wedding venues… see what you think below!

Imogen and Sam put on a brilliantly fun and relaxed wedding day for their guests; delish food prepared by one of Sam’s own ushers’ catering business, beautiful patisserie cakes on each table, champagne and crémant flowing freely, and two of London’s coolest venues on the agenda!

It was so lovely to also catch up with their dear friends Jen (aka florist extraordinaire, Willowgold!) and Joe, whose wedding I’d also recently photographed (and you can check out some cheeky photos from their day here).

Congratulations Sam + Imogen – may your sporty adventures continue, and may you toast each future milestone together with your favourite fizz!! x

So much love for these guys and their super chilled and fun wedding – if you’d like some photos for your own London wedding, just get in touch and let’s make it happen!!

So happy to share these teasers from Zuzanna and Matt’s London wedding… they’ve got a big (exciting!) move planned, and family around the globe, so they decided to keep their wedding day small and sweet… with a great, big party planned for later!!

They met each other at work in the software world, and are about to embark on some fun travels followed by an international move – life envy, or what??!

Zuzanna and Matt chose the beautiful York House in Twickenham for their wedding ceremony – the sun-drenched Terrace Room leads right out to the gardens, which was perfect for their family and friends to enjoy after the ceremony.

Everyone then headed to the stylish No.1A Duke Street restaurant in Richmond for celebratory drinks and lunch!  After a very special FaceTime with Matt’s mum, I left the group to enjoy their lunch and the rest of the sunny day in Richmond.

Hope you enjoy these photos; it was so lovely to meet such sweet and welcoming people (and their friends and family too!) – and I’m sure Matt and Zuzanna have a great future together ahead too!!

If you’re thinking about having a relaxed, London wedding, get in touch!  Photography starts at £300 for small and sweet London weddings, so – no matter how last minute – I’d love to capture it all for you!

I’m always saying that I LOVE shooting short and sweet London weddings, with just a few favourite guests in attendance… I could never really articulate why before, but Jen and Joe have just nailed this whole concept, and I’m hoping you can tell from the photos how unbelievably special a wedding like this is!!  I mean, how much love and happiness exudes from these guys??!?  It’s so beautiful to see, and it was an incredibly special moment in their lives to be a part of.

Jen and Joe met working at the same school together in west London, soon after which Jen launched her beautiful floristry company Willowgold (and she created her own gorgeous flowers for her wedding, whoop!).

The goal was to have a lovely, personal wedding with just their closest family present, so Jen and Joe chose the stunning Old Marylebone Town Hall for their wedding ceremony (the very sweet Pimlico room… but, after the renovation, all the rooms are beautiful here!), followed by bubbles, canapes and lunch for their party of 14 in the private dining room at Clarette.  Pretty awesome, right??!

Well, the icing on the cake was that Jen and Joe snuck off after lunch to catch a Eurostar to Paris for their honeymoon!!  Such a fun idea, and the perfect way to round off their wedding.  To such a sweet, fun couple, completely in love and deliriously happy – we wish you the best future together that you so deserve! x

Totally in awe of their effortless London style.. if you’d like some photos for your own London wedding, just get in touch and let’s make it happen!!

Rupa and Arik’s wedding hit the spot on so many levels… two beautiful cultures coming together, delicious food, their favourite 30 peeps and their wedding ceremony at one of London’s most glorious Town Halls!!

The Old Marylebone Town Hall has come through a stunning renovation, so it’s one of our fave registry locations in the city… gotta love that Edwardian marble combo!!

So, following a red bus trip through central London, Rupa and Arik’s intimate wedding party settled into the Cinnamon Club for the evening.  I mean, who doesn’t love an absolute feast for their wedding day!?  Check out these teaser photos below and let us know what you think in the comments!

As you can maybe tell, we are foodies that LOVE a London wedding!!  So, if you’re feeling it, get in touch about your London wedding plans…

Lauren took James to Hawksmoor for his birthday a few years ago, and the pair absolutely loved it (as do we… drool!!).  So, it made total sense to return to the magnificent city of London for their wedding, and get feasting on steak at Hawksmoor Guildhall!

These two actually grew up together on the same road in Essex, how sweet is that!!  After an engagement in stunning Santorini last year, they decided to get married in London in a way that ticked all the boxes for them, and it was truly a day full of happiness, love and excitement!! Oh, and delicious food (obvs)…

Lots more photos and a film to come soon, so here are a few teasers from the day being sent over to Lauren and James, who have landed in Dubai to start their honeymoon!!  Wishing these two lovely souls a beautiful future together…

Sarah and Mike got married at Winchester House in Putney, having fallen in love with the beautiful space, and it being right next door to their favourite pub!  There’s something very special about getting married close to where you’re living at the time; all those memories wrapped up together.  We love shooting these sorts of London weddings!

They met when they both worked for the same fashion company; Sarah in the design department and Mike as a developer (who created their whole wedding website, with a live countdown and everything!).  They got engaged whilst on holiday in Portugal last summer and, the week after that, they attended their best friends’ wedding where we met them!  You can see that lovely wedding, of Sarah and James, which we photographed here.

Sarah and Mike have set off for a couple of weeks of blissful honeymoon relaxation in the Maldives, and we’ve just sent them these teasers to remind them of their beautiful wedding!  So much love, thought and care went into this day, and – notwithstanding a slight shoe mishap, rescued by mum! – it was an all-round glorious wedding for the sweetest couple! x

When we are getting to know a couple in advance of their wedding, we ask them for 3 words to describe themselves; Hattie and Mike wrote ‘Poms together, forever’ – as I was chuckling to myself (or ‘lol’ing’, y’know), I knew we’d love working with these two!!

Hattie and Mike met four years ago through working in the legal field together, and had their first date at one of the Inns of the Inner Temple.  It was perfectly fitting, then, that they would choose to get married at Middle Temple – a grand, historic space tucked into central London, in the land of the law.

A particular highlight for us was the juxtaposition of the Wild Boys 80s band against this most proper backdrop of the Middle Temple; these guys cemented the party vibe that had carried through all day!!  Even Donald Trump made an appearance!  Errr……sort of.  Middle Temple is also one of those venues that has everything down, so it was a pleasure to work with the team there.

After a short staycation at the Inn, these guys have hit work once again so we’re super happy to be sharing a few more photos from the day as a bit of an uplifter!!  Hattie and Mike, you were brilliant and hilarious hosts, we loved capturing your day and the many hugs and Thank You’s were so appreciated! x

We got to know Katie and Iain over the last couple of years so we couldn’t quite believe it when their wedding day was upon us, but there we found ourselves, in the thick of central London surrounded by Prudential London ride fans!!  Our own wedding was also on a day where a ton of London roads were closed, so we were charged and ready for this, and the amazing wedding coordinator Sarah Clifford made sure that everything went to plan!

Katherine and Iain crossed paths at Durham university, where they both joined the ballroom dancing society; a skill that would come in handy for their most beautiful first dance, eight years later!!  As you know, the couples that are drawn to our photography are brilliant, fun and lovely people, and these two are no exception!  It means that we shoot such a range of very special weddings, so on Katherine and Iain’s wedding day, we lapped up the Westminster Abbey vibe where these two got married (in the pretty church next door).

Yes, we were those people allowed in by the guards in red coats, meanwhile being papped by many spectators… I mean, MANY!!  It all added to the celebration of the day, and being in Parliament Square suited Katie and Iain perfectly, with their interests in history and politics between them.  In fact, Katherine is a curator at Chartwell (yeah, I had to Google it the first time too… ignoramus number one over here), hence Sir Winston Churchill making a rather serious appearance in the photos too.  Guests went on to a warm welcome and an elegant reception at East India Club in St. James’ Square, ending with some brilliant beats from The Distractions Band!

With a minimoon in Sicily, Katherine and Iain must be on cloud nine right around now… in amongst all the pasta and prosecco, if we know anything about Italy.  Thank you both so much for sharing your wedding, and engagement, and lives with us… it’s been the utmost pleasure to follow your journey, and we’ll happily continue to do so! x
