Being back in London after two glorious weeks in Italy was never going to be easy… but looking back over the photos from Alannah and Nick’s stunning wedding at Villa Sant’Andrea in Taormina certainly helps alleviate the pasta blues!
Alannah and Nick met in London when Nick interviewed for the recruitment agency Alannah was working at. A cheeky pursuit followed and, after a whirlwind proposal in New York (with an amazing photo to go with it!), these two fell in love with Villa Sant’Andrea in Taormina, on the coast of Sicily, for their wedding.
And when we arrived, we could totally see why! The curved beach invites crashing waves onto the rocks, clear water glistening under the sun; sailboats for miles. The stuff dreams are made of!! Marilisa and her team warmly welcomed us all, and guests enjoyed a seriously al fresco wedding embracing all the elements – including a rather beautiful double rainbow.
When we sent the happy couple their preview app, we got a lovely message back from Alannah: “Oh my goodness these photos are amazing!! You are beyond talented, they are the best pictures I have ever seen!! We are so lucky to have found you guys (first and only photographers we spoke to!) as I can’t imagine anyone else would take anything half as beautiful and it really felt like you were guests at the wedding as well. Seriously, everyone else loved you too!”
*Blush*! We loved it so much as well! As you know, it’s so important to us to spend time with and get to know our couples and we knew we’d love these two from the beginning…Alannah and Nick, you bring out the best in each other, and make for some great entertainment! Thank you so much for inviting and hosting us in Italy, for showering us with Godiva chocolates, and just generally being fun and generous company. This is just the beginning of your Taormina story! x
